Join the free campaign fair hosted by Trinity College Integrated Sustainability Initiative, U of T School of Environment, and the Women’s Healthy Environments Network (WHEN), a non-profit promoting awareness of the environment as a key determinant of public health.
This year, WHEN’s WTF campaign will involve U of T student art, music, embodied practices, U of T faculty & community panelists, information networking booths, and take home free prizes.
This event will inspire an embodied awareness of our health as an integral part of our environment through art and science, and will cultivate an understanding of the social injustices of environmental degradation and the systemic legal and political changes necessary for a better future. There are two sessions exploring toxics from: recent science, social disparities, legal reform, activism, prevention, corporeal/psychological experiences, and agency. Panelists will discuss embodied and scientific awareness of toxic harms, their social inequalities, and necessary political change. See event poster below.
