Isabelle Zhu

Hello everyone, my name is Isabelle and I’m a fifth-year PhD candidate in the Department of English. I study how play shifts between utopia and torture in multiethnic American and British Literature. I did my MA in English in the Field of Creative Writing at UofT, where I specialized in writing poetry. Please let me know if you’d like support with literature or creative writing courses.

Outside of academics, I enjoy weightlifting, boxing, and watching independent films.
